Sarah was born in Sydney and Cecchetti trained by Robyn Ross.
Sarah completed all her Cecchetti Ballet examinations from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2 achieving Honours for every exam, and winning the Grade 3,5,6, Intermediate and Advanced 1 scholarships.
Sarah won the Gold Medal in all three age groups in the New South Wales Cecchetti Medal Awards Competition 2001 Junior Gold Medal, 2003 Intermediate Gold Medal, 2004 Senior Gold Medal.
Sarah represented New South Wales in the National Medal Competition in 2003 and 2004, winning the Lucie Saranova Memorial Medal on both occasions. This makes Sarah the only student in Australia to have won all three NSW Gold Medals as well as both Lucie Saranova Medals!

Accepted into Level 5 at the Australian Ballet School

Sarah won the Big Brother Scholarship (AUS $6,000) enabling her to further her studies in United Kingdom

Sarah was a finalist in the prestigious McDonalds Ballet Scholarship
Sarah was made an apprentice of the New York City Ballet Company
Sarah was given a full contract to the New York City Ballet Company.
