Adam Thurlow was born in Melbourne and received his Cecchetti training from Lorraine Blackbourn's Heidelberg & District Ballet School. After graduating from the Australian Ballet School, Adam joined The Australian Ballet Company and later the Paris Opera.
Adam is currently in his 3rd year with the Paris Opera, he has been dancing major roles in many of the Paris Opera's repertory including Cinderella and Le Sacre Du Printemp during his time with the company. Adam is one of very few foreigners to be offered work with the Paris Opera who are predominately French and have a reputation for being the most renowned company in the world.
Adam has had no trouble in settling into the parisienne way of life, he has become comfortable with both the language and the culture.
July 2006, Adam returned to The Australian Ballet.
