THE ART OF TEACHING

The teaching of ballet technique and artistry to children is a specialised skill that must be entrusted to those who are properly qualified. CECCHETTI BALLET maintains high standards in its teacher training program and offers extensive continual professional development opportunities for its members.

Cecchetti teachers must train through a rigorous system of examinations for professional teaching qualifications.

There are four levels which include knowledge and development of Cecchetti classical ballet techniques and principles throughout all levels of the syllabi. Study in teaching methodology, child development, anatomy and injury prevention, musical appreciation, history of dance, health and child safety are required to attain these qualifications.
