THE ART OF TEACHING
The teaching of ballet technique and artistry to children is a specialised skill that must be entrusted to those who are properly qualified. CECCHETTI BALLET maintains high standards in its teacher training program and offers extensive continual professional development opportunities for its members.

Cecchetti teachers must train through a rigorous system of examinations for professional teaching qualifications.
​
There are five levels which are attained over a minimum of eight years, and include knowledge and development of Cecchetti classical ballet techniques and principles throughout all levels of the syllabi. Study in teaching methodology, child development, anatomy and injury prevention, musical appreciation, history of dance, health and safety and business studies is required to attain these qualifications.

Become a Qualified Cecchetti Teacher
There are three pathways to becoming a qualified Cecchetti Ballet teacher. Upon completion of the most suitable pathway, you will hold an Associate Diploma status and be entitled to enter students into examinations. Some restrictions apply at the Associate Diploma levels.

Memberships
The memberships are available for registered Cecchetti Ballet teachers and Students only.
Membership Types: Active Membership, Non-Active Membership and student memberships.
