Cecchetti Ballet provides its teachers with the qualifications necessary to correctly educate both the recreational student and the dancers of tomorrow.

 

The teaching of ballet technique and artistry to children is a specialised skill that must be entrusted to those who are properly qualified. Cecchetti Ballet maintains high standards in its teacher training program and its teachers train through a rigorous system of examinations. Study in teaching methodology, child development, anatomy and injury prevention, musical appreciation, history of dance, health and safety is required to attain these qualifications. Current first aid and Working With Children or Police check are mandatory.
